At 28, Dan suffered a life-threatening brain hemorrhage that required emergency surgery and left him in a medically induced coma for four weeks. When he woke up, he had to relearn how to walk, talk and smile. Just as he was rebuilding his life and career, a second major medical setback tested everything he'd worked to regain.
