Herb Sennett, Ph.D.

I've spent more than thirty years in front of classrooms, congregations, boardrooms, and film sets watching how people act in stressful situations. I have studied audience actions and needs and developed a broad range of speeches to address almost any audience and event planner's needs. I hold a Ph.D. in Dramatic Theory and Criticism, an M.F.A. in Stage and Film Directing, and an M.A. in Speech Communications. I built and led communication departments at two universities, taught speech communication for three decades, and was rated among the top instructors at one of those schools for five consecutive years. I've also written and produced films, published three novels and two academic books, and written five stage plays, which means I stress the importance of the storytelling beneath people's lives, where dreams and desires often lie dormant. I speak to that need to enliven people's hidden or buried desires and dreams.
