About Jessica Sanchez
Jessica Sanchez is a nonprofit founder, healthcare leader, community advocate, and speaker dedicated to improving access to care and creating stronger systems of support for women and families. As Founder and CEO of Daughters of Both Suns, Jessica leads a growing nonprofit focused on culturally responsive, trauma-informed support, resource navigation, mental health and wellness, advocacy, and community education. Her work has helped expand connections between families, healthcare providers, nonprofit organizations, and community partners while addressing barriers that often prevent underserved communities from receiving the support they need. Jessica also brings experience in healthcare operations, public administration, psychology, program development, and community engagement. Her advocacy is especially focused on women’s wellness, maternal health disparities, mental health, disability and autism support, and equitable access to healthcare and community resources. Known for turning lived community needs into practical programs and partnerships, Jessica approaches leadership with a strong belief that meaningful change happens when organizations listen to the people they serve and work collaboratively rather than in silos. As a speaker, Jessica brings an engaging and relatable perspective to conversations about leadership, resilience, advocacy, health equity, nonprofit development, and building community-centered solutions. Her goal is not simply to raise awareness, but to inspire people to take action and create systems where individuals and families have genuine opportunities to thrive.
