Susie Sanchez
The Dream Lived - The Battlefield Fought - Empowering Lives
About Susie Sanchez
Susie is a voice of resilience - a seasoned executive assistant, author, speaker, cancer survivor/advocate, and former NFL cheerleader whose life’s work is rooted in resilience, purpose, and the power of speaking up. After making national headlines as one of the oldest cheerleaders in NFL history—and one of the very few grandmothers to ever take the field—she went on to publish her memoir, The Dream Lived, sharing her story of perseverance and possibility. Years later, Susie faced a new and unexpected chapter in her life: an anal cancer diagnosis that reshaped her mission. Today, she is a passionate advocate for HPV awareness, early detection, and ending the silence surrounding anal cancer. Through public speaking, writing, and community engagement, she uses her voice to educate, empower, and protect future generations. Susie leads with authenticity and heart. She is a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who believes that storytelling can save lives—and that courage becomes contagious when shared.
